DuraRoad PX300 provides an inexpensive solution to developers, land owners, and municipalities within Costa Rica to improve dirt roads so they can hold up to the harsh weather conditions present during much of the year in Costa Rica.

DuraRoad PX300 is a high-technology liquid copolymer soil stabilization which produces an abrasion and water resistant surface made of natural soil.

Road Stabilization with DuraRoad PX300

When mixed with water and the soil found on site PX300 transforms into a hard surface that can be used as a base for roads under asphalt or cement, or can just be used by itself with no base covering.

DuraRoad PX300 causes the soil to bond during compaction into a dense permanent base which resists water penetration, weathering, and wear.

DuraRoad treated roads are visually harmonious with nature by the earth tone colors present in the soil. DuraRoad PX300 is biodegradable and environmentally safe - the best solution for roads and trails within ecological and environmentally sensitive developments in Costa Rica.

Trails, Driveways, Patios

DuraRoad PX300 is also perfect for building private driveways, parking lots, patios and trails. Being environmentally safe DuraRoad is also appropriate for use in sensitive natural environments, including trails on the beach or in nature reserves.

DuraRoad surfaces can easily be shaped and constructed in a wide variety of natural colors thus providing the aesthetic look which combines best for a place.

Roads and Trails have the color and structure of the soil on site. You can also obtain different shades by adding materials like crushed coral or volcanic rock.

Durability

By itself DuraRoad PX300 can last around 4 - 5 years, dependant on traffic and weather conditions. Longer life can be obtained by adding a chip seal coat with asphalt, volcanic rock or similar materials on top of DuraRoad.

Dust Control

DuraRoad PX300 does also solve dust and erosion problems. In dust or erosion control applications, diluted PX300 is merely sprayed onto soil without compaction, effectively sealing the surface to prevent deterioration from erosion or dust stirred up by traffic. Once the product is cured it will not wash away with water.
